Facebook: From Become a Fan to Became

There has been a buzz that advertising agencies have received a notice that Facebook will change their button “Became A Fan” to “Like”.  At first, I was puzzled on why FB would switch such CTA or call to action - but then I realized that they [FB] will benefit from it in the sense of branding.  Instead of having a vague “BECAME A FAN” - The button will have a better branding with  “Like” US on Facebook or “Connect with US on Facebook.”
