SEO, Affiliate Marketing and Domain Names

Sticking with What You Know Best

I have been using the internet since I was in grade 7.  I started to use an email, using eudora light and yahoo, chatting with friends on IRC and exploring the internet with altavista, yahoo SE and the like.  It was since last year that I really got serious with my struggle to make money online. I first started with hoping to buy and sell domain names.   Buying expried domain name and hoping for a good sale for atleast 50% profit.  Then, I started to make blogs.  I did a few blogs and sites that I had to keep some and sell a few.  After a few earnings, I started to study affiliate marketing and PPC or pay per click.  Sad to say, I have not started yet with ppc since there are some crucial steps to follow and other things to consider.

.. which left me on what method I should actually focus on.

signs-2

I admit, I enjoy doing all those methods.  Some are time consuming, some are just expensive with regard to operation.

Stick with What You know Best

It is said many times, that in order to be successful, you should first focus on what you know best, and afterwhich, shift to a slightly different method and test the waters before actually jumping in.  Improve strengths and consider weaknesess and threats will bring succes.  With that said, I will stick with the things I know that works and hopefully enahance my knowledge and skills then move on with the next method. :)

    stick to your expertise at the start. conquer new territories later. maybe i should follow this advise. i should be blogging about finance and taxation as these are supposed to be my field. but it’s too serious, and i want to blog for fun.

    you can start about anything you want as long as you put your heart on what you’re doing…

    @ceblogger… finance and taxation is a good niche. You’ll earn $10,000 a month in adsense alone if you successfully market a blog on that niche.

    sel, $10k month? but that is mostly for US accounting. accounting and tax rules differ from country to country.

    @ceblogger,

    its the keyword that matters, finance and taxation keywords are so expensive… it might give you $3-10 a click.. it could be lower but I’m 100% that it taxation and finance adsense clicks is far higher than the ordinary clicks..

    estimate the keyword price here >> http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=2&url=https%3A%2F%2Fadwords.google.com%2Fselect%2FTrafficEstimatorSandbox&ei=4xNFSLuDDqPw0AT6maCeBw&usg=AFQjCNHqyvQJSw0ZuVuSfZsErUbG0B_qAQ&sig2=dZyIkjyZpeuMvcMZA0v1NQ just take the 25% of it for content keyword price..

    @ceblogger - one thing I learned from zalds, is that you should have a goal and proper time management. Put some pressure on what you are and will do. and dont forget to pay yourself first after reaping what you have accomplished (thanks fitz) :D

    thanks for visiting my blog guys..
